Yayoi Kusama exhibition in Bergamo

From 17 November 2023 to 24 March 2024 the Palazzo della Ragione in Bergamo will host an exhibition by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, the most popular artist in the world according to The Art Newspaper.

On display there will be the installation "Fireflies on the Water", one of his most famous Infinity Mirror Rooms, coming from the collection of the Whitney Museum in New York. It is a room completely covered in mirrors, with a pool of water in the center over which hundreds of fireflies seem to hover in the air.

An installation that will allow the public to immerse themselves in the infinite and meditative dimension of Kusama's artistic universe. The event is promoted by The Blank Contemporary Art and the Municipality of Bergamo.
