Immerse yourself in modern and contemporary art at GAMeC
Via San Tomaso, 53 Bergamo

Innovative exhibitions, experimental projects, educational activities, public meetings and many initiatives for young and old ... art has never been so contemporary!
The Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Bergamo, GAMeC, inaugurated in 1991, is located right in front of the Pinacoteca dell'Accademia Carrara, in the spaces of the ancient Monastery of Dimesse and Servite, a fascinating, completely restored fifteenth-century architectural complex.
Furthermore, in summer, GAMec also uses the Sala delle Capriate of Palazzo della Ragione for installations and exhibition projects by international artists, thus bringing contemporary visual arts to the heart of the Upper Town, in a creative connection between Piazza Vecchia and Piazza Carrara.
Many temporary personal and collective exhibitions, and a rich program of collateral activities make GAMec a point of reference capable of attracting different audiences: from the most passionate, to the curious visitor, up to the little ones, with thematic workshops and recreational and educational activities.
